It is Hybrid designs that Wistao Bluetooth music base station, its preamp adopt 6N1 dual triode tube, power amplifier using high-power integrated IC. This design combines mellow and beautiful sound of tubes with feature of high-power output of high-power integrated IC, its maximum power is up to 2 x 28W, enough to meet your listening needs.


Also simple design of two switches, one is Bluetooth input switch, the other is RCA input of CD signal. It’s up to you to choose using Bluetooth signal input or RCA line input. The right of volume knob allows you to adjust volume of speakers. The rear of Bluetooth music base station is equipped with a banana plug line input, and can switch freely according to your needs, to switch CD input mode.

As an audiophile for tube amplifier, we might know that there are generally three kinds of connection methods for beam tetrode tube of tube amplifier, standard, ultra- linear, and triode connection. Its output power and distortion decrease in turn.

Generally, when we use the power tube, the grid voltage is fixed, which is called standard connection. When the grid is directly connected to the screen, i.e. the beam tetrode is connected to a three-stage tube that called triode connection. The ultra-linear connection is between standard and triode connections. which is to connect the curtain grid to the tap of a certain number of turns of output transformer, consider to increase the output power of the standard connection and the low distortion of the triode one.

Ultra-linearity is a kind of negative feedback, whose principle is to obtain the feedback voltage through the output transformer tap to add to the output tube curtain grid. As the grid voltage changes, the output curve cluster of the tube will change, so the grid voltage can be negative feedback by output voltage changes.

IWISTAO Discrete Components Stereo FM Radio Board LA3401 Decoding TDA2030A Line Output to 2 x 28W Tube Hybrid Amplifier & HIFI Bookshelf Speakers

The version adopts an air variable capacitor.

This is a stereo FM radio finished board with discrete components. You only connect DC12V power adapter and speakers then you can enjoy wonderful FM radio. Or, you may make a wooden casing and DIY it as a vintage radio.

The receiving part adopts the discrete component split frequency tuning head as a HF receiving unit. The PCBA adopts double balanced proportional discriminator with excellent sound quality, and also optimizes its layout of the intermediate frequency circuit PCB, improves the stability of the intermediate frequency. And it uses a LA3401 decoding chip as FM stereo decoder, whose resolution is up to 70dB,its noise ratio is up to 95 dB. At the same time, a first-stage FM mixed signal preamplifier is added, which improve the problem that the LA3401 standard circuit cannot be driven in weak signal, so that each radio station can achieve good mediation resolution. After then, the LA3401 has no decoding noise and is comparable to the LA3450 chip.
